Run your business

Messages

Every message sent through your website's contact form lands in one inbox. Read, tag and reply to customers from your own email address.

When someone fills in the contact form on your website, their message appears in Messages, and it's also emailed to you. You never have to dig through a separate inbox to find enquiries from your website.

#Get messages from your website

Most websites built with InMinutes include a contact form. If yours doesn't, the Messages page shows Contact form not set up. Click Set up contact form and InMinutes adds one to your live website in about 30 seconds, with no code needed. You can also ask the editor chat: "Add a contact page with a form, phone and address."

Each message is also sent to your contact email. By default that's your account email; to use a different address, open Settings → Websites, pick the website and change its Contact email.

#Read a message

Click Messages in the sidebar. New messages are marked New, and ones you've answered are marked Replied.

Click a message to see the details: the sender's name, email, phone, their message, and any additional fields your form asks for.

To find something, use the search box (it searches names, emails, phone numbers, message text and tags) or the All tags filter.

#Organize with tags

Give a message a classification tag to keep things organized, such as Hot lead, Support or Pricing. Type a tag in the message details and click Save. Then filter your inbox by tag.

#Reply from your own email

You can answer customers straight from InMinutes. Replies are sent through Gmail, so they come from your own email address and land in the customer's inbox like any normal email.

  1. Connect Gmail once: see Google apps.
  2. Open a message and write your reply. InMinutes starts it for you with a friendly greeting.
  3. Click Send reply.

Without Gmail connected, you can still reply by clicking the customer's email address to open your usual email app.

#Get alerts on your phone

Connect Telegram to get an instant notification whenever a new message arrives. See Live chat & alerts.

#Everyone in one list

People who contact you are also added to your Audience, together with customers from bookings and orders, so you can stay in touch with them later.
