Run your business
Customer accounts
Let visitors sign up and sign in on your website, so returning customers can see their orders and manage their details.
Customer accounts add a sign in / sign up option to your website. Visitors can create an account with their email and a password, or continue with Google. Signed-in customers can see their order history and update their details.
Customer accounts are part of the Pro and Business plans.
#Turn on customer accounts
Open Audience
Click Audience in the sidebar.
Switch on Visitor login/signup
Turn on the Visitor login/signup switch at the top of the page.
Publish
Publish your website so the sign-in option appears for your visitors.
If your website has an online store, shoppers can already sign in to see their orders.
#What your customers can do
Once accounts are on, a My Account option appears on every page of your website. From there, visitors can:
- Sign up or sign in with email and password, or Continue with Google.
- Get a sign-in link by email instead of using a password.
- Reset their password if they forget it.
- See My Orders, with each order's details and a Track order link (on websites with a store).
- Update their name, photo and password in Settings, and sign out.
#Good to know
- Customer accounts belong to your website only. A customer's account on your website is separate from their accounts on other InMinutes websites, and from InMinutes itself.
- Customers who sign up also become part of your Audience.
