Run your business
Appointments
Let customers book a time with you online. Set your hours, take free or paid bookings, send reminders, and manage everything in one calendar. Free on every plan.
With Appointments, your website gets a booking page where customers pick a free time slot and book it themselves, day or night. You see every booking in your dashboard, and both you and your customer get an email confirmation.
Online booking is free on every plan, including the Free Plan. Taking a card payment when someone books needs the Pro plan.
#Turn on bookings
There are two easy ways:
- From the chat: in the editor, ask "Let customers book appointments online." The chat sets up a booking page that matches your website's design.
- From the Appointments page: click Appointments in the sidebar, then Add booking page.
When it's ready, you'll see Booking page is live with its address (for example yourbusiness.inminutes.app/booking). Use Copy to share the link, Open to see it, or Refresh to rebuild the page after big changes to your website's design.
If you tell InMinutes you want bookings when you first build your website, the booking page is set up for you automatically.
#Set your availability
Open the Availability tab to decide when people can book.
#Weekly schedule
Choose the days you're open and your hours for each day. Mark days as Closed when you don't take bookings.

#Free or paid bookings
In Payments, choose how customers pay for a booking:
| Option | How it works |
|---|---|
| Free | No charge. The booking is confirmed straight away. |
| Paid · in person | You set a price. It's shown to the customer, and you collect the money yourself (cash, card machine, bank transfer…). |
| Paid · online Pro | The customer pays by card through Stripe while booking. The booking is confirmed once the payment goes through. |
For paid bookings, set the Price per booking. You can also add a Payment note that appears in the customer's confirmation, like "Please bring exact change" or your bank details.
Online card payments need the Pro plan and a connected Stripe account. See Stripe & PayPal.
#Reminders
Cut down on no-shows by sending customers a reminder email before their appointment:
- Turn on Send customers a reminder.
- Choose when to Send it: how many hours before the appointment.
- Optionally, Add a line from you, like "Please arrive 10 minutes early. Parking is behind the building."
Replies go to is the email address customers reach when they reply to a confirmation or a reminder. Messages from your website's contact form are delivered there too.
#Manage your bookings
The Bookings tab shows every appointment. At the top you'll see your numbers: Upcoming, This week, Revenue (last 30 days, from paid bookings) and Total bookings.
- Switch between List and Timeline (a month calendar).
- Use Filters to show only certain bookings, for example Confirmed, Pending payment, Completed, Cancelled or No-show.
- Click a booking to see the customer's details and notes.
For each booking you can choose:
- Mark complete: the appointment happened.
- No-show: the customer didn't come.
- Cancel: cancels the booking. If the customer paid online, their payment is refunded automatically through Stripe.
#Add a booking yourself
Took a booking by phone? Click New booking, enter the Customer name, Date and Time, and optionally their email, phone and notes.
#Pause bookings
Going on holiday or fully booked? Click Pause at the top of the page. Your booking page stays on your website but stops taking new bookings until you turn them back on.
#Sync with Google Calendar
Connect Google Calendar and every new booking appears in your calendar automatically. When a booking is moved or cancelled, your calendar updates too. See Google apps.
#What your customer sees
- They open your booking page and pick a day.
- They choose one of the free time slots.
