Build your website
Brand & design
Teach the AI how your business looks and sounds, so every change stays on-brand. Set your brand context, colors, fonts, logo and photos.
Your website should look and sound like your business, every time you change it. InMinutes keeps a short brand context for each website: a description of your business, your voice, your customers and your design style. The AI reads it before every change it makes.
#Set your brand context
Open your website's settings
Go to Settings → Websites and click the website you want.
Fill in the Brand context card
You'll see a few boxes. Write in your own words; there are no wrong answers.
Click Save
From now on, every change by you or the AI uses this context.
What each box is for:
| Box | What to write | Example |
|---|---|---|
| What the business does | What you sell or do, and what makes you different. This is the most useful box. | Family-run Italian bakery in Austin since 1998. Sourdough baked daily, custom wedding cakes, gluten-free options. |
| Voice | How every word on your website should sound. Pick Professional, Playful, Friendly, Sophisticated, Bold, Quirky or Innovative, or describe it in your own words. | Friendly |
| Who your customers are | Who the website is talking to. | Local families and couples planning weddings. Many are ordering a cake for the first time. |
| How it should look | Your standing design instructions for every future change. | Warm and cozy. Cream background, dark brown text, lots of photos of our bread. |
| Rules to never break | Words to avoid, claims you can't make, spellings to keep. The AI treats these as hard limits. | Never say "cheap". Always write "Luna's Bakery" with the apostrophe. |
Leave a box empty to keep what InMinutes worked out when it built your website. The empty box shows that value in grey, so you can see what the AI is using.
#Change colors and fonts
Ask in the chat, in your own words:
- "Use our brand colors: dark green #1F4D3A and warm cream #F6EFE3."
- "Make the headings a classic serif font and keep the body text simple."
- "Switch to a dark, elegant color scheme."
For a single element, use visual edits to pick an exact color, size or weight.
To make a new style stick for all future changes, add it to How it should look in your brand context too.
#Add your logo and photos
Real photos of your work, your team and your place make a big difference. To add them:
- In the chat: click +, attach your logo or photos, and say where they go: "Use this as our logo in the header" or "Put these three photos in the gallery."
- With visual edits: click an image on the page, then Replace image in the panel.
Your logo and business name are also used for the small icon in the browser tab and for link previews when someone shares your website. They're added automatically when you publish.
#Start again with a new look
Want a bigger change? Describe the new direction in one message, for example: "Redesign the whole site to feel premium and minimal: more white space, fewer colors, larger photos." Then update How it should look so future changes follow the new style.
