Import a website
Moving from Shopify, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or any other website? Bring your details, text, photos, products and blog posts over to InMinutes.
Already have a website? You don't have to start from scratch. InMinutes can read your current website and build your new one from what's already there: your business details, your words and your photos. You can also bring over products from Shopify and blog posts from WordPress.
There are two ways to import:

#Build a new website from your old one
Open the + menu on the dashboard home
On the dashboard home, click + in the prompt box, then Import → From my website.
Paste your current address
Type your website address, like mybusiness.com, and click Read my site. InMinutes reads your details, text and photos from it. Nothing is published or changed on your existing website.
Check what we found
You'll see Here's what we found: your contact details, what you do in your own words, your photos and brand colors. Fix anything that's wrong.
Continue
Click Continue. InMinutes builds your new website from this content, and you can change anything afterwards.
You can also import from an export file here: choose Shopify export (your product CSV) or WordPress export (your XML file) in the same menu.
#Import products and posts into a website
Go to Settings → Import site.
- Under From your website, enter your current website's address and click Scan site. InMinutes detects the platform (like Shopify or WordPress) and finds what can move over.
- If your website can't be scanned, use From an export file instead:
- Shopify: in Shopify, go to Products → Export → CSV.
- WordPress: in WordPress, go to Tools → Export → All content (you'll get an XML file).
- Files can be up to 8 MB.
- Review the list of products and blog posts found, choose which website to import into (Import into), and click Import selected.
When it's done, you'll see how many products were added to your store and how many posts were added to your blog. Posts that already exist are skipped.
Importing products needs the online store, which is part of the Pro plan.
#Finish your move
After importing, follow the checklist InMinutes gives you so you don't lose visitors:
- Connect your existing domain so your address stays the same. See Connect a domain.
- Keep old links working: use the URL map (old → new) to set up redirects, or keep the same page addresses.
- Resubmit your sitemap in Google Search Console so Google finds your new pages. See SEO & AI search.
- Keep your old website online until traffic has moved over, then cancel your old subscription.
Your past imports are listed under Previous imports in Settings → Import site, where you can open or remove them.
