Create a website

Creating a website with InMinutes is a conversation. You describe your business, answer a couple of quick questions if needed, and InMinutes designs and writes your whole website: pages, text, layout and colors.

#Start building

You can start from:

• The dashboard home: type into the box under Where do you want to start? and press send. See Dashboard overview.
• All websites: click Create website.
• A template: see Templates.
• Your old website: see Import a website.

#Describe your business

The builder greets you with "Tell me about your business and I'll take it from there." Write a few sentences, as if you were telling a friend:

Luna Bakery is a family-run bakery in Austin, Texas, open since 1998. We bake sourdough and pastries every morning and make custom wedding and birthday cakes. Customers should be able to see our menu and prices, find our opening hours and location, and order cakes online. Warm, cozy style with cream and brown colors.

The more you share, the better your website. Good things to include:

• Your business name and what you do.
• Where you are (city or area) and who your customers are.
• What customers should be able to do: book appointments, buy products, request a quote, call you…
• Your style: colors you like, a feeling (modern, playful, premium…), or websites you admire.
• Real details: services and prices, opening hours, your phone and email.

#Answer a few quick questions

If something important is missing, InMinutes asks. Questions usually come as cards with options you can click, for example about your contact details, the look you want, or whether customers should be able to book appointments or buy products. If your description already covers something, it isn't asked again.

#Watch it being built

When InMinutes has what it needs, it starts building. You'll see the steps as they happen, such as planning the pages and designing each one. A build usually takes a few minutes. You can stay on the page and watch, but you don't have to do anything.

When it's done, you'll see "Your website is ready! This chat is now your editor — tell me what to change." and you're taken to the editor.

#What you get

• Several pages that fit your business, like Home, About, Services and Contact, plus pages such as a menu for a restaurant.
• Text written for your business and your city.
• A design made for you, not a fill-in-the-blanks template.
• A layout that works on phones, tablets and computers.
• Features you asked for, like a booking page or a shop page.
• Search-friendly basics: page titles, descriptions and business details that Google and AI assistants understand.

#Credits and plans

Building a website uses credits. InMinutes checks you have enough before it starts, so a build never stops halfway because you ran out. See Credits & usage.

On the Free Plan you can build one website and preview it. To put it live, choose a paid plan. See Plans & pricing.

#If something goes wrong

• The build stopped or failed: go back to the dashboard. If the website appears, it finished; if not, try again. You're not charged for a build that fails.
• "Your website is still being built": the connection dropped but the build is still running. Open your dashboard in a minute instead of starting again, or you'll end up with two websites.
