The editor

The editor is where you work on your website. It has two halves:

• The chat on the left, where you ask for changes in plain words.
• The preview on the right, which shows your website exactly as visitors will see it.

To open it, click Edit Website in the sidebar, or Open editor on your website's card on the dashboard home.

#The chat

The chat is how you change your website. Type what you want, like "Add a section with our opening hours", and the AI does it. The chat also asks you questions when it needs details, and shows you what a change will cost before it runs.

At the top of the chat:

• Chat history (clock icon): open earlier conversations about this website.
• New: start a fresh conversation. Your website doesn't change; you just get a clean chat.

At the bottom is the message box. Besides typing, you can:

• Click + to attach files or images, or pick one from your uploaded files.
• Click the magnifier to browse ready-made prompts, like "Add a testimonials section" or "Switch to a dark, elegant color scheme".
• Click the pointer to turn on visual edits and pick a part of the page.
• Click the microphone waves to speak your request instead of typing it.

#The preview

The top bar of the preview has everything you need to look around your website.

#Preview, Canvas and Code

Three tabs at the top-left switch how you see your website:

• Preview: your website, working as it will for visitors. Click links and buttons to move between pages.
• Canvas: a design board where you can zoom and move around the page, and add shapes or images on top of it.
• Code: the code behind the current page, for the curious. It's read-only; make changes with the chat or with visual edits.

#Pages and address bar

The address bar in the middle shows which page you're on, for example Home · live preview. Use it to jump to another page of your website, or click the circular arrow to reload the preview.

#Desktop and mobile

Use the Desktop and Mobile buttons at the top-right to see how your website looks on a computer and on a phone. Most visitors will see it on a phone, so check both.

#Team and Publish

• The round people button shows who can edit this website with you, and lets you invite someone. See Invite your team.
• Publish opens the publish panel, where you put your changes live. See Publish your website.

#Drafts keep you safe

Nothing you do in the editor reaches your visitors until you publish. Every change goes into a draft first. If you don't like where things are going, you can throw the draft away and go back to your live website. See Throw away a draft.
