Run your business

Audience & campaigns

See all your customers in one list, built automatically from bookings, orders and enquiries, and send them branded email campaigns.

Audience is your customer list. Everyone who books an appointment, buys from your store, pays an invoice or sends you a message is added automatically, without duplicates. Then you can email them a campaign, like a seasonal offer or news, sent in your business's name.

Audience is part of the Pro and Business plans. There's no separate email-marketing tool to pay for.

#Your contacts

Click Audience in the sidebar. At the top you'll see:

  • In your ledger: how many people are in your list.
  • Reachable by email: how many of them have an email address and haven't unsubscribed.
  • Campaigns: how many campaigns you've created.

The Contacts tab lists everyone. Contacts are added automatically from:

  • Bookings made on your booking page.
  • Orders from your online store.
  • Enquiries from your website's contact form.
  • Paid invoices.
  • Customer accounts created on your website.

If the same person books, buys and sends a message, they appear once, with all their activity together.

You can also search by name, email or phone, and click Add to add someone yourself, such as a client you met in person.

#Send an email campaign

Open Campaigns

Go to the Campaigns tab and click New campaign.

Choose who gets it

Under Send to, pick a group:

  • Everyone
  • Booked: people who booked an appointment.
  • Bought: people who ordered from your store.
  • Enquired: people who sent you a message.
  • New · 30d: people who joined in the last 30 days.
  • Lapsed · 60d+: people you haven't heard from in over 60 days. Great for "We miss you" offers.

InMinutes shows how many reachable recipients are in the group before you send.

Write your email

Add a Subject and your Message. The live preview on the right shows exactly what customers will receive.

Send or save

Click Send now and confirm, or Save as draft to send later.

Sending can't be undone. Read your email in the preview before you confirm.

After sending, each campaign shows its Recipients, how many were Delivered and how many Failed.

The editor chat can write a campaign for you. Ask something like "Draft an email to customers who booked last month offering 15% off their next visit." You'll review it and approve before anything is sent.

Every campaign email includes an Unsubscribe link, and a note that the person is receiving it because they're a customer of your business. People who unsubscribe are left out of future campaigns automatically, so you don't need to manage it yourself.

Only email people who are your customers or who asked to hear from you. It keeps your emails out of spam folders and respects privacy laws.

#Visitor login

At the top of the Audience page you can also turn on Visitor login/signup, which lets people create an account on your website. See Customer accounts.
