Build from your phone, and watch the build happen
The builder, the editor and the dashboard now work properly on a phone, and a build tells you what it's actually doing instead of showing timed guesses.
A lot of you start a site on a phone. Until this week, that meant a chat box you had to fight and a preview you couldn't really drive.
On mobile
- The builder chat and prompt box fit the screen, keep the send button reachable, and stop the page jumping around when the keyboard opens.
- The editor gets a mobile preview bar: switch pages, open the live site, publish or discard, all without a desktop sidebar.
- The dashboard and admin shells now size to the real visible height, so nothing hides behind the browser's own bars.
- The support chat got the same treatment as the rest of our chat surfaces — same bubbles, same typing indicator, same behaviour.
While your site is building
- Progress lines are real events now. "Designing your homepage" used to appear because nine seconds had passed; it appears because a homepage is being designed. You see planning, writing, wiring, checking, fixing and deploying as they happen, with the file or the page being worked on.
- Long builds no longer look like a failure. Claude can spend minutes writing pages without saying anything, and that silence used to get the connection dropped and reported to you as a network error — on sites that had, in fact, built fine.
Nothing to switch on. Open the builder on your phone and it's there.
