Improved
Generated sites — a serious design upgrade
We rewrote how InMinutes designs your site. Cleaner layouts, calmer palettes, and no two sites that look alike.
The fastest way for a website to look cheap is to look AI-generated. We've spent the last few weeks rebuilding the part of InMinutes that decides how your site looks — and the result is a real jump in design quality.
What's new
- No more presets. The old design system leaned on a small set of templates that, over thousands of sites, started to feel repetitive. We retired it. Every site is now composed from design fundamentals instead of picked from a shelf.
- Variance dials. A new layer of randomness controls how each site differs from the next — type pairings, spacing rhythm, hero composition, section order. Two restaurants in the same city will not get the same site anymore.
- Re-tinted palettes. The color system was rebuilt with calmer, more contemporary tones. Fewer flat saturated greens and blues; more considered neutrals and accent restraint.
- "Tells to avoid" list. We taught the generator the specific patterns that scream AI did this — overused gradient hero backgrounds, identical three-column feature grids, generic stock-photo placement — and gave it concrete alternatives.
- More patience on multipage. Multipage generations now get the time they need to produce something polished, rather than rushing to hit an arbitrary timeout.
What this means for you
If you generated a site before this update, regenerate it — the difference is immediately visible. New sites pick up the changes automatically. Edits made via the chat interface use the same upgraded design core.
We'll keep tightening this. Send us a screenshot if you spot a site that still looks AI-shaped — hello@inminutes.app.
